Description
Medical device.
Sterile aqueous hydrogel containing:
- polyvinyl alcohol, lubricating, viscoelastic, mucoadsive, protective;
- dexpantenol, which belongs to the class of vitamins of group B, omologist of pantothenic acid, vitamin tissue nutrient, protective epithelium;
- disetionant examination, polyhexanede hydrochloride and hedetate disode and other excipients, to be used on the eye tissues by means of istillation.
Thanks to the properties of its components, the device is effective as a coadjuvant in the process of corneal reepitelization, after stress caused by contact lenses, air conditioning, solar radiation, artificial lamps or videoterminals. KERATOSEPT therefore stabilizes the lacrimal film and defends the eye surface in all cases of lacrimal sympathizer, also present in patients with recurring eye infections.
It is perfectly transparent and colourless.
It is miscible with the tear fluid in all proportions.
It has pH values, viscosity, osmolarity perfectly compatible with eye tissues and lacrimal liquid and therefore has a high degree of tolerance.
Mode of use
Istill 1-2 drops of the solution of the device in the lower joint bag of the eye, exerting a slight pressure on the body of the bottle. It is advisable to repeat the operation 2-3 or more times a day when necessary.
Components
Polyvinyl alcohol 1,25%, dexpantenol 5%, disetionate examination 0.50%, polyesanide hydrochloride 0,0001%, methylsulphonylmethane, disodium edetate, sodium phosphate bibasic, potassium phosphate monobasic, purified water.
Warnings
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Given the absence of quaternary ammonium salts, the device can also be used by wearers of soft and rigid contact lenses.
Don't touch the eye with the dropper tip.
Do not use in case of eye infection in place.
Do not use other collieries at the same time.
Do not use in case of incompatibility known to any component of the preparation.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
Conservation
Store at a temperature below 25 °C.
Validity of whole packaging: 36 months.
Post-opening validation: 30 days.
