Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of cholestatic hepatopathy, based on vitamin E in hydrosoluble formula.
Ingredients
Water, D-alpha tocopheryl polyethyleneglycol-1,000 succinate (TPGS); acidifier: citric acid; preservatives: potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate; linoleic acid.
Nutritional characteristics
Mode of use
Second prescription, based on the serum levels of vitamins.
Indicatively we recommend 1 ml (50 mg/75 IU of vitamin E) for 3 kg body weight per day.
Shake the bottle well. Using the included doser, take the prescribed amount directly or mix it with water or other allowed liquid.
Warnings
Do not use if the seal is broken or missing. DEKAs Aqua-E must be used under medical control, in children over three years of age and in adult with cholestatic hepatopathy. The administration of vitamin E in a hydrosoluble form makes it suitable for vitamin supplementation in the dietary management of cholestatic hepatopathy. It cannot be used as the only power source. The product may lead to health risks if consumed by people not affected by the disease, disorder or pathological condition for which the product is indicated. The doctor will have to assess the opportunity to use the product in patients with significant kidney failure, with vitamin K deficiency or in process with oral anticoagulants, during pregnancy. Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
Store at room temperature.
Store in the refrigerator after opening.
Post-opening validation: 2 months.
