In the absence of data, do not use the product in puppies under 8 weeks or less than 2 kg. Do not use in sick animals (systemic diseases, with fever etc.) or convalescents. Do not use in rabbits, as potentially mortal adverse reactions may occur. This product is intended exclusively for dogs. Do not use in cats, to avoid overdose phenomena. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any excipient.Population
It is presented in monodose pipettes containing different volumes of product, depending on the weight of the dog. 1 pipette from 0,67 ml for body weight dogs between 2 and 10 Kg; 1 pipette of 1,34 ml for dogs of body weight between 10 and 20 Kg; 1 2,68 ml pipette for dogs of body weight between 20 and 40 Kg; 1 4.02 ml pipette for body weight dogs between 40 and 60 kg The indicated dosage corresponds to the recommended minimum dose of 6.7 mg/kg of fipronil. For dogs weighing more than 60 Kg, use 1 pipette of 4,02 ml and 1 pipette of the most appropriate lower dosage (0,67 ml or 1,34 ml or 2,68 ml): break the pre-cut extremity of the pipette. Apply the product on the skin of the interscaping area, where the dog does not get licking, avoiding the removal of the product. The contents of the pipette must be applied directly to the skin and not to the hair: press on the walls of the pipette, until completely emptying. A single application of the product protects the animal from new infestations from ticks, fleas and lice, in particular: - from ticks: up to 1 month after treatment - by fleas: up to 3 months after treatment. For proper ectoparasite prevention it is advisable to carry out monthly treatments during periods of increased seasonality. In the absence of harmless data, the minimum treatment interval must be 4 weeks.Conservation
Store in a dry place at temperatures not exceeding 30 degrees C.Warnings
It is important that the product is applied in an area where the animal cannot lick and be careful so that the animals do not leach each other after treatment. Avoid contact with the eyes of the animal In case of accidental contact with the eyes, wash the eyes immediately and abundantly with water. Do not apply the product on injured or skin. It is recommended to avoid dives in water or bathing in the 2 days following the application of the product and baths with a frequency greater than once a week, since there is no data available to demonstrate how much this interferes with the activity of the product. Emollient shampoos may be used before treatment, but, if used weekly after application of the product, reduce the duration of protection against fleas to about 5 weeks. Weekly baths with 2% chlorhexidine shampoo have not reduced the effectiveness of the product to fleas during a 6 week study. It is recommended not to allow dogs to swim in water courses in the 2 days following the application of the product. If the dog has been treated before exposure to the ticks, they will be eliminated in the first 24-48 hours after the attack, or before the completion of the meal, reducing but not excluding the risk of transmission of diseases. Once dead, ticks will fall from animals, any remaining ticks can be easily removed by pulling them slightly. Fleas present on animals often infest the animal's skin, blankets and areas where the animal lives, in particular carpets, curtains and furnishing fabrics; these, in case of massive infestations and at first antiparasitic treatment, can be treated with a special insecticide and regularly cleaned with an aspirator. For optimal control of flea infestation it is advisable to treat all livestock. Special precautions for animals: the product can cause irritation to mucosa and eyes. It is therefore recommended to avoid contact with the mouth and eyes. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, wash immediately and abundantly with water. If the eye irritation persists consult a doctor and show him the label. Avoid contact with Frontline Spot On Dogs to animals or people with sensitivities established against insecticides or alcohol. Avoid the content coming into contact with your hands. In this case, wash your hands with soap and water. Wash your hands after use. Do not touch animals and do not let children play with treated animals until the application site is dry. It is therefore recommended not to treat animals during the day, but to treat them in the evening and, if just treated, not to make them sleep with the owners, especially with children. Do not smoke, drink or eat during the application. Overdosage: in harmless studies, adverse reactions were not observed in puppies of 8 weeks of age, in growing dogs and dogs with a weight of about 2 kg, treated once at doses five times higher than the recommended dose. The risk of adverse reactions (see paragraph 4.6) may however increase in case of overdose, so animals should always be treated with the pipette of the size corresponding to its body weight.Interactions
