EYE BABY SPRAY
Description
Class IIb medical device.
Sterile saline solution, physiological pH, ocular and periocular. It is a valid help to remove the periocular and eye secretions of the newborn from the first days of life, the infant and the child (then from 0 to 6 years of age). The product can also be used by children older than 6 years old, teenagers, adults and older people (i.e. over 65 years old).
The instillation of GSE EYE BABY SPRAY softens and washes away the secretions present on the eye surface, in the conjunctive fornics and in the eyelid margin. It performs a diluting, decongesting and moisturizing action to increase the volume of tears.
GSE EYE BABY SPRAY contains distilled waters of euprasia and rchinacea that contribute to the moisturizing effect thanks to their moisturizing action.
It is compatible with soft contact lenses.
Without preservatives.
Mode of use
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before use.
Handle the bottle so that the finger you use for dispensing (index or inch) is well placed on the dispenser and does not cover the nebulization hole. Keep the bottle vertically and exert a strong pressure on the dispenser to nebulize the solution.
In case of direct dispensing in the eye spray the product at a distance of about 10 cm from the eye.
On the occasion of the first use, provide some vacuum times until a regular nebulization of the product is observed.
In case of storage at a temperature of less than 15 °C, if the product is intended for use on children, hold a few minutes the bottle between the hands to bring the product to room temperature to avoid an unpleasant feeling of cold.
Use the product as follows:
- for the rinsing of the periocular area in place of conventional wet wipes or hymbibite: nebulize 1 or 2 solution sprays on a sterile gauze and use it to clean immediately and gently the area around the eyes, eliminating any secretions. Avoid rubbing with force but softening the dry secretions with the gauze soaked until you can remove them. Use a different gauze for each eye;
- for the rinse of the eye: nebulize 1 or 2 product sprays in each eye, open or closed: nebulizing to the open eye, the admiccament resulting from the increase in volume of the tear fluid allows the product to wash the surface of the eye by removing the foreign particles together with the excess of liquid; nebulizing to the closed eye, the liquid that remains trapped in the eyelid, thanks to the embossment comes into contact with the eye surface, increasing the volume of the tear fluid and thus allowing the product to wash the surface of the eye by removing the foreign particles together with the excess of liquid;
- to relieve feelings of discomfort or redness: nebulize 1 or 2 product sprays in each eye.
Components
Chloride sodium (0.82%), vitamin E TPGS, distilled water of pale Echinacea, distilled water of euprasia, zinc sulphate eptahydrate, citric acid monohydrate, tribasic dihydrate sodium, water for injectable preparations.
Warnings
The product is exclusively for ophthalmic or periocular use.
The product is monopathic.
Do not use if the bottle turns out, at the time of the first opening, damaged or not perfectly closed.
During use do not touch the eye, or other surfaces, with the spray surface.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
In case of side effects during use suspend treatment and consult a doctor.
Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility towards even one component of the formulation and/or plants Asteraceae and/or Orobanchaceae.
No interactions with drugs or other eye drops are reported; in any case, let it spend at least 15 minutes before administering any other eye drops.
Dispose of the product according to local waste management regulations.
Keep out of reach of children.
Consult your doctor before using pregnant or breastfeeding.
For external use, do not ingest.
Do not tamper or damage the bottle and its mechanisms.
GSE EYE BABY SPRAY does not replace any drug therapy prescribed by your doctor.
It is necessary to report any serious incident occurring in relation to the device to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State in which it has established itself.
Conservation
Store at a temperature between 2 °C and 30 °C in a dry place, away from heat, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight.
Post-opening validation: three months.
