Description
Medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745, class I - non sterile.
Convex plaque for colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy with adhesive hook, is a plaque consisting of a hydrocolloidal adhesive and a floating ring with guide, for the correct positioning of the collection bag.
It has an elastic adhesive that allows it to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin offering an instantaneous high adherence throughout the time necessary, safety during the |use and skin intact to the removal.
The adhesive consists of two layers:
- the most internal layer has a special lattice structure, which incorporates small hydrocolloids: in contact with the deiations is transformed into a thick and compact gel, with high resistance to erosion. This creates a protective seal that reduces the infiltration of infiltrations together with the maintenance of the correct gradient of skin moisture, favoring tissue repair;
- in the outermost layer and thinner the elastic adhesive capacity allows this layer to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin offering a high instant adhesiveness and consequent safety in use.
The SenSura Mio Convex plate has an internal shell lattice that guarantees stability and flexibility without any compromise or loss of performance by either of the two elements, indicated for people with a lower abdominal conformation. The reticle has been studied to move and adapt to all types of abdomen. It also has 4 belt hooks.
The plate has a convexity of 6 mm to manage areas that need convexity but not with high curvatures. It guarantees the right stability to allow the protrusion of the stoma at the skin level.
It is available in cut-out version to the desired size (following the printed guide on the protective mask of the adhesive surface).
The flexible coupling type makes the product easy to apply; in fact, no pressure is required in the connection of the bag to the plaque. It is comfortable to wear and guarantees protection and security for the duration of use.
It does not contain lattic and phthalates.

Wall decal SenSura Mio: gelatin, polyisobusene (PIB), CMC, EVA (vinyl acetate of ethylene), PU (polyurethane), isopropene ironene (SIS), resin, potato starch.
SenSura Mio floating ring: acetate vinyl ethylene, PE, polyester film.
Shell with Flexline SenSura Mio: ethene-1-octene copolymer (LLDPE), ethylene butane copolymer (HDPE).
Warnings
Disposable product: do not reuse.
Conservation
Keep away from light and moisture, at a constant temperature between 15 °C and 30 °C.
Validity of whole packaging: 36 months.
