Medical device for stomy management, ideal for customizing standard systems, improving the durability and response to individual needs.
The Adapt Ring ring is a medical device for stomy management. No alcohol. Ideal also in the presence of skin injuries. Made of Flextend M hydrocolloid, with high erosion resistance, dilating to contact with liquids, creates a seal between skin and stoma. Easy to apply, optimizes the level of skin protection. It maintains the shape without alterations, constitutes a perfect seal against losses.
Latex-free. Free from DEHP, DBP and BBP.
Duration in use: variable stay time based on the time in use of the bag from stomia.
Mode of use
Adapt barrier rings can be applied under hydrocolloid plates and adhesives, even in combination with leavening paste. For proper application, the skin must be clean and dry.
Both protective film of the barrier ring can be removed simultaneously or, if you prefer, only one film can be removed, keeping the opposite film to facilitate the application. Model and lengthen the barrier ring as needed before applying it on the plate. To facilitate the adjustment of the ring, it may be necessary to remove both protective film. Place the plaque with the ring centering it on the stoma. Keep in place for several seconds.
For removal, gently detach from the skin proceeding from the top down, keeping the skin tense with a slight pressure.

Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources.
