MICOXOLAMINA VAGINAL CREAM 1%: etilenglicol and polyoxyethyleneglycol palmitostearici, glycerides of saturated fatty acids polyoxyethylene, vaseline oil, benzoic acid, butilidroxyanisolo, purified water q.b. MICOXOLAMINA OVULI VAGINALI 100 mg: benzoic acid, semisynthetic solid hetoxyl glycerides. MICOXOLAMINA GINECOLOGICAL SCHEM 1%: laurilsulfate of monoethanolamine, polyethyleneglycol 150 stearate, polysorbate 20, lecitindietanolamide, sodium edetate, benzilic alcohol, perfume, lactic acid, purified water q.b.

Therapeutic indications

Micoxolamina Vaginal Cream 1% and Micoxolamine Vaginal Ovuli 100 mg: Vaginal Infections by Candida. Micoxolamina Ginecological foam 1 %: Adjuvant in vulvo–vaginal Candida infections.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or one of the excipients.

Population

MICOXOLAMINA VAGINAL CREAM 1 %: Introduce once a day (before bedtime) or second prescription, 5 g vaginal cream (the content of 1 filled applicator) deeply into the vagina by means of the acclusive applicator. The therapy must be continued for at least 6/7 days, although subjective symptomatology (pruritus and leucorrea), disappeared on the first days of treatment. Depending on the severity of the infection or to prevent relapse, it is advisable to continue treatment for a further week. MICOXOLAMINA OVULI VAGINALI 100 mg: introduce an ovum per day (in the evening before bedtime) deeply into the vagina for at least three days. Depending on the severity of the infection or to prevent relapse the therapy can be protracted for another 3 days. To prevent a reinfection it is necessary to treat with MICOXOLAMINA CREMA also the area surrounding the vagina (external genital organs up to the anus). To this end, squeeze out a small amount of cream and apply it with a crush on the part to be treated. MICOXOLAMINA 1 % GINECOLOGICAL SCHEM: it is advisable to use Micoxolamina Schiuma 1 or 2 times a day, during the treatment period with Micoxolamina Ovuli and/or Micoxolamina Crema. They deter the external genitals with 10 cc (1 dose) of dissolved gynecological foam in water, without rinsing.

Warnings

The eventual emergence of awareness-raising phenomena requires the suspension of treatment and the adoption of appropriate therapeutic measures. A reciprocal infection (ping-pong effect) is possible by the partner. To prevent a reinfection, the partner "healthy" should also be subjected to medical control. Keep out of reach of children.

Effects

Rarely a slight burning may occur in the first days of treatment.

Overdosing

No overdose cases have been reported.

In pregnant women the product must be used only in case of actual need and under the direct control of the doctor.
