Indicated for dietary management of chronic renal failure (IRC). Indicated for dietary management of phenylchetonuria. Indicated for Dietary management of Parkinson's disease (in therapy with levodopa). The product, for its composition, is suitable for all three categories of patients. In particular: the product has been specially formulated with reduced ingredients of protein, sodium, phosphorus and potassium content to meet the nutritional needs of patients suffering from chronic renal failure; The composition of the product presents, in addition, a reduced supply of phenylalanine for the dietary management of subjects in conditions of phenylketonuria. Furthermore, the product, thanks to a limited content of protein, is also suitable for dietary management of patients with Parkinson's disease in care with levodopa, as it does not interfere in the absorption of this amino acid. For the patient in levodopa therapy, the degree of possible dysfagia must be evaluated and any malnutrition issues for defect that may arise under protein restriction conditions.
