Indications
PEGinpol is a medical device powder for extemporaneous oral suspension useful in the treatment of stypsis.
PEGinpol is particularly indicated in chronic constipation and occasionally irregular bowel cases.
Mode of use
From 6 months to 2 years (up to 12 kg): 0.8 g of product per kg body weight per day.
From 2 to 11 years (from 12 kg to 20 kg): 1 g of product per kg body weight per day.
Over 11 years (or > 20 kg): 10-30 g of product per day (5-15 scoops).
The dose may be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment.
The most correct daily posology for age group is to be decided according to the weight of the child and the severity of the stypsis.
It is recommended in any case to feel the doctor's opinion for the most correct posology.
Use the product in pediatric age only after medical advice.
The maximum dose required does not normally exceed 30 g of the product per day.
On the basis of the above mentioned posology, take the quantity of product with the aid of the mesurino equipped with heels that allow to dose the product.
Dissolve the powder in water considering, for each satin scoop (equal to 2 g) of powder, about 1/4 of glass of water (about 25 ml).
Drink the solution so reconstituted.
You can split the daily dose into multiple administrations.
It is recommended to take PEGinpol away from meals.

Thanks to its affinity for water, PEGinpol softens feces by facilitating evacuation without causing cramps, abdominal pain, nor emergency conditions.
Its effectiveness is not reduced over time.
It is not absorbed or fermented in the intestine, it does not irritate the mucosa and is eliminated in the unmodified form feces.
Warnings
Oral suspension must be prepared when taking.
It is recommended not to take quantities greater than those indicated, as higher doses may cause unexpected side effects.
For periods of use greater than 30 days and it is recommended to terminate the treatment with PEGinpol for at least 3-5 days.
Do not hire in case of product intolerance.
Do not assume in case of hypersensitivity known to components and polyethyleneglycol.
Do not use in children under 6 months.
During treatment with PEGinpol it is advisable to follow an adequate diet accompanied by the administration of a solution for oral rehydration (ORS) to avoid dehydration; it is however recommended to consult the doctor.
Store internal instructions along with the product.
Store in a cool and dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, in the original packaging.
The indicated expiry date refers to the correctly stored product in an integral package.
Do not use the device after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Do not use in case of damaged packaging.
Keep away from the reach of children.
In case of adverse reactions suspend the use of the product and immediately contact your physician or pharmacist.
If you do not take a double dose, but wait and take the next dose.
