Description
Medical device.
Syntomatic treatment of stipsis. It promotes peristalsis, helping to have adequate intestinal evacuation, thus counteracting constipation and preventing the formation of fecalomas.
Macrogol is a high molecular weight hydrosoluble polymer that has the ability to bind to the water used for intake by holding it in the stools. It determines a rehydration and softening of the fecal mass and facilitates evacuation. Accelerate intestinal transit by favoring peristalsis. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the gastro-intestinal tract and does not lead to hydro-electronic imbalances, if taken with the indicated dose of liquid.
Mode of use
Use the measurin contained in the package to dose the powder: fill it satin and unpressed, then remove the amount of excess product with the blade of a knife.
- Adults and children older than 12 years: from 2 to 10 scoops per day. The dose must be increased or decreased, depending on the individual response to treatment, so as to allow a regular evacuation of soft feces. The maximum dose required does not normally exceed 10 scoops per day. Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (50 ml for each measuring device) and take immediately. It is recommended to administer the product in the morning in case you should take the minimum dose (2 scoops per day). For higher doses, divide intake between morning and evening. If you do not notice any improvement after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.
- Children aged between 6 months and 12 years: the dose must be increased or decreased, depending on the individual response to treatment, so as to allow a regular evacuation of soft feces. The maximum dose required does not normally exceed 4 scoops per day. Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (50ml for each measuring device) and take immediately. It is recommended to administer the product in the morning in case you have to take 1 scoop per day. For higher doses, divide intake between morning and evening. If you do not notice any improvement after 7 days of treatment, you should consult your doctor.

Warnings
The administration in children must be carried out under direct control of an adult. It is recommended to use the product in pediatric age after consulting your doctor

The product can reduce the time of stay in the intestine and therefore the absorption of oral medicines. It is therefore recommended to consult the doctor in the event of simultaneous intake of oral medicines, which should in any case be administered at a distance of at least 2 hours.
In case of unwanted reactions suspend treatment and consult your doctor.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not hire in case of:
- hypersensitivity known to one or more components;
- drilling, obstruction or intestinal stenosis;
- the paralytical one;
- severe inflammatory diseases of the intestine (e.g. ulcerative colitis, Crohn disease, toxic megacolon).
The use of laxatives is contraindicated in case there are acute or unknown abdominal pains, nausea and vomiting, rectal bleeding of unknown origin and in case of severe dehydration.
Some gastrointestinal disorders (belly disease, flatulence, abdominal swelling, nausea and fecal incontinence).
Diarrhea is a secondary effect to taking excessive doses of Sanipeg and is avoidable by decreasing the dose of intake.
There have rarely been cases of reaction from hypersensitivity (rash cutaneous) following the use of products containing macrogol. In case, suspend treatment and consult your doctor.
Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, away from light and away from heat sources. Carefully close the container after use.
The expiry date refers to the correctly stored product.
