Excipients with known effects : mixture of esters of p-hydroxybenzoic acid, ethyl alcohol, fructose. For the full list of excipients, see paragraph 6.1.

Excellent

Ester mixture of p-hydroxybenzoic acid, ethyl alcohol, fructose, isoamile acetate, mint soluble essence, E 104, sodium deidroacetate, purified water.

Therapeutic indications

Adjuvant in the spastic and painful states of the bile and urinary tract.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients listed in paragraph 6.1. For the presence of ethyl alcohol, Schoum Solution and Schoum Forte Solution are contraindicated in case of pregnancy and breastfeeding and in case of severe liver failure.

Population

Do not exceed the recommended doses. Schoum Solution Adults: A glass (g 50) 4-6 times a day Children: Half cup (g 25) 1-2 times a day The dose should be taken preferably away from meals. Schoum Forte Solution Adults: 2 tablespoons, 4-6 times a day Children: 1 tablespoon, 1-2 times a day The dose should be diluted with as much water and taken preferably away from meals.

Conservation

This medicine does not require any special condition of conservation.

Warnings

The presence of precipitated bow does not indicate alteration of the product. Schoum Solution and Schoum Forte Solution contain ethyl alcohol in quantities greater than 100 mg per dose. It can be harmful to alcoholics. To be taken into account in pregnant or nursing women, children and high-risk groups such as people with liver or epilepsy disorders. For those who carry out sports activities, the use of drugs containing ethyl alcohol can determine positivity to antidoping tests in relation to the limits of alcohol concentration indicated by some sports federations. Schoum Solution and Schoum Forte Solution contain fructose. Patients suffering from rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance should not take this medicine. Schoum Solution and Schoum Forte Solution contain esters of p-hydroxybenzoic acid. They can cause allergic reactions, even delayed.

Interactions

For the presence of ethyl alcohol, we do not recommend the contemporary intake of alcoholic beverages.

They are not known overdose syndromes. In case of accidental ingestion of massive doses of drug, establish suitable symptomatic measures.

Schoum Solution and Schoum Forte Solution contain ethyl alcohol in quantities greater than 100 mg per dose; their administration is therefore contraindicated in case of pregnancy and nursing (see paragraph 4.3).
