Description
Protection, hydration and lubrication of the eyes in the treatment of dry eye syndrome, moderate to severe entities.
Thealoz Duo contains a solution to be administered by instillation into the eye or on contact lenses. Thealoz Duo is recommended for eye discomfort, burning or irritation. These symptoms may be caused by external factors such as wind, smoke, pollution, dust, exposure to sun or cold, dry heat, air conditioning, air travel, prolonged computer screen work, etc.
Thealoz Duo contains no preservatives and ensures optimum respect for eye tissues. It gives immediate relief, lasting all day.

Property
Hypotonic aqueous ophthalmic solution with neutral pH, without preservatives. The main ingredients are trealose, a disaccharide present in many plants and animals, and sodium hyaluronate, a polysaccharide naturally present in the eye. The chemical-physical characteristics of trealose give the product protective, antioxidant and moisturizing properties. For these reasons it is an essential element in the mechanism of anidrobiosis observed in some micro-organisms (metabolism slowed that allows them to survive extreme dehydration). Trealose also has protective and stabilizing properties of cell membranes, preventing protein denaturation and lipid degradation, as well as antioxidant properties. Sodium hyaluronate is a polysaccharide present in the human eye with unique properties of water retention. The remarkable water retention properties ensure better hydration and lubrication of the corneal surface. Thanks to the unique combination of trealose and sodium hyaluronate, Thealoz Duo protects, moisturizes and lubricates along the eye surface, for maximum comfort. To ensure maximum tolerance, Thealoz Duo does not contain preservatives thanks to the multidose ABAK bottle. This new and patented device allows the administration of eye drops through a 0.2 mcm filter membrane, which prevents bacterial contamination of the solution. The solution remains protected and can be used for periods up to 3 months after opening.

Mode of use
1 drop in every eye, 4-6 times a day.
Thealoz Duo can also be used with contact lenses.
Warnings
Do not use in case of allergy to one of the components.
Do not touch the surface of the eye with the tip of the bottle.
Don't inject and don't swallow.
Do not use the product if the safety ring is damaged.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
In case of application of two different eye products, a range of at least 10 minutes is recommended.
Wash your hands well before use.
Avoid touching eyes or eyelids with the tip of the bottle, especially if you think you have an infection in the eyes.
Instill a drop in the lower joint bag, gently pulling down the lower eyelid and looking upwards.
Put the cap back after use.
Undesirable side effects (adverse effects): rare possibility of slight irritation in the eyes.
Conservation
Store the product at a temperature below 25°C.
After opening, do not hold the bottle for more than 3 months.
Do not use the product after the expiry date clearly indicated on the packaging.
Do not use the bottle if it is damaged.
Validity of whole packaging: 24 months.
