Description
Medical device.
Ophthalmic solution suitable for protection, hydration and eye lubrication.
It is recommended in case of discomfort, pungent sensation, foreign body or eye irritation due to moderate to severe eye dryness. Such symptoms can be caused for example by external factors such as wind, smoke, pollution, dust, sun or cold exposure, dry heat, air conditioning, air travel, many hours spent in front of the computer screen and eye surgery such as refractive surgery and cataract.
THEALOZ DUO UD gives immediate relief from the symptoms of the dry eye, which lasts all day.
THEALOZ DUO UD is well tolerated on the eye surface and can be used by contact lens holders, regardless of the type of lens.
The main components of THEALOZ DUO UD are trealose and sodium hyaluronate. Trealose provides protective and moisturizing properties. The sodium hyaluronate, present in the human eye, retains water to hydrate and lubricate the surface of the eye. It keeps the solution on the surface of the eye, giving long relief and shortening the healing time of the eye surface.
Thanks to the combination of trealose and sodium hyaluronate, THEALOZ DUO UD offers long-term protection, hydration and lubrication of the eye surface.
Sterile solution, without phosphates, hypotonic and neutral pH.
Without preservatives. The absence of preservatives allows the protection of eye tissues and also does not cause reactions to preservative-sensitive users.
Mode of use
1 drop in each eye, from 4 to 6 times a day.
Special training is not required to use THEALOZ DUO UD.
Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Open the aluminum envelope and unplug a monodose container from the strip. Put the rest of the strip in the envelope. Do not use any tool to open the container. Turn and pinch the container until the solution drops. Open the container by turning the top tab. To avoid contamination, do not touch the tip of the container with nothing. Press until the solution appears. Apply a drop into the eyelid cavity, gently pulling down the lower eyelid and looking up. Gently close the eye after the application.
Throw the disposable container, even if it remained of the solution. Don't save.
Components
Trealose (3%), sodium hyaluronate (0.15%), sodium chloride, tromethylamol, hydrochloric acid and water for injectable preparations.
Warnings
Produced only for single-use.
Only for ophthalmic use.
Keep away from the sight and reach of children.
After use, do not drive or use machinery if the vision is blurred: wait a few minutes for the vision to turn sharp.
Wait for at least 10 minutes between the use of two different ophthalmic products.
Do not dilute THEALOZ DUO UD or mix with other solutions.
Check that the package is integrated before the first use: use only if disposable envelopes and containers are not open.
To avoid contamination, do not touch the tip of the container with nothing.
Do not reuse the container, because after opening the content is not protected by microbial contamination.
You must contact a health care professional if the symptoms worsen or do not improve.
Do not inject and do not ingest.
Do not use THEALOZ DUO UD if you are allergic to one of its components.
Possible side effects: rare possibility of slight irritation to the eyes and ocular redness. In such cases, contact lens carriers must remove contact lenses.
When using eye drops, you can experience annoying symptoms, such as burning sensation, pungent feeling, extraneous body feeling in your eyes and blurred vision for a short time.
If you notice unusual side effects or sensations after using this product, contact a healthcare provider and report information to the local distributor, manufacturer or local health authority.
Conservation
Store at temperature between 8 °C and 30 °C. Do not expose the product to direct light and moisture.
Throw the disposable container immediately after use even if it has remained of the solution. Store unopened disposable container in the envelope to protect it from light. The unopened disposable container can be used up to 3 months after the first opening of the envelope.
Do not use after the expiration date which is reported on the monodose container and on the external box.
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month, as long as the package is integrated and has been preserved correctly.
Validity of whole packaging: 24 months.
