Ingredients
Treasury 3%, sodium chloride, tromethylamol, hydrochloric acid, water for injectable preparations.
Property
Thealoz is an ophthalmic aqueous solution, sterile, without preservatives, isotonic and pH neutral. Its main ingredient is trealose. The chemical-physical characteristics of trealose give it protective, antioxidant and moisturizing properties. Trealose also has stabilizing properties of membranes, preventing protein denaturation and lipid degradation, as well as antioxidant properties.
Thealoz is available in a multidose bottle Abak. This innovative process allows the administration of drops through a 0.2 mcm filter membrane, which prevents bacterial contamination of the solution.
When to use Thealoz Gel
Thealoz is recommended in case of sensation of eye dryness (disagio, pungent pain, irritation) and eye fatigue caused by external factors such as wind, smoke, pollution, dust, dry heat, air conditioning, air travel, protracted work in front of the computer screen, etc.
Without preservatives, can be used by contact lens holders. It provides quick comfort during the day in contact lens wearers.
Mode and route of administration
Manufactured by eye instillation.
Instill a drop in each eye by repeating the administration as needed during the day.
Thealoz can be used when bringing contact lenses.
For proper use of the product you must take some precautions:
• thoroughly wash your hands before proceeding to the application;
• avoid eye contact or eyelids with the spout of the bottle, especially if you think you have an eye infection;
• instill a drop in the lower joint bag, stretching down the lower eyelid and looking up. Close the bottle after use.
The solution can be used for 8 weeks after opening the bottle.
A Thealoz bottle contains at least 300 drops.
Special warnings and precautions
• Do not use Thealoz in case of previous allergy to any of the ingredients.
• A rare occurrence of slight eye irritations has been observed.
• In case of breaking the protection ring, do not use the product.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
• The administration of two eye products is recommended for 10 minutes.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not inject, do not ingest.
