100 g collodion contain: Active Ingredients: ACIDO SALICILICO 15 g, ACIDO LATTICO 15 g.

Excellent

Urea, glycerine, USP elastic collodium (composed of camphor, castor oil, pyroxyline, Ethiopian ether, ethyl alcohol).

Therapeutic indications

Treatment of vulgar warts, plantar, mosaic; calli and dull.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to active ingredients or any of the excipients. VERUNEC should not be used by diabetics or patients with impairment of blood circulation. VERUNEC like all products with high content of salicylic acid should not be applied on the face and on the anogenital area.

Population

Apply twice a day (mattin and evening), by means of a spatoline, a small amount of product on the affected area. Evaporate for a few minutes. VERUNEC leaves a protective film that does not require special attention and is easily removable at the time of subsequent applications. It is recommended, before using the product, to wet the application area for about 5 minutes in hot water and, from time to time (2–3 times a week), to rub it with stone or abrasive lime. The treatment should be continued until full removal of callosity. Do not exceed the recommended doses.

Conservation

The product is flammable, keep the bottle well closed and sheltered from flames or heat sources.

Warnings

The product should not be applied on: seborrheic warts, facial warts, condilomas, skin nerves. Avoid contact with eyes and mucosa. If the product should be poured into the eyes or mucosa, wash with water, remove the precipitated collodion and still wash with water for 15 minutes. Avoid application on the normal skin surrounding callosity. The product is only for external use. Prolonged use of topical products can give rise to awareness-raising phenomena. In this case stop the treatment and consult the doctor to establish suitable therapy. Don't swallow. In case of accidental product ingestion, consult a doctor immediately. The product should not be used to prevent wart formation. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use for prolonged treatments; after short period of treatment without appreciable results consult your doctor.

Interactions

Avoid the contemporary use of other keratolytics to not increase the caustic action of active substances.

Effects

Localized irritation may occur if the product is applied to the skin surrounding hyperchratosic formation. Normally irritation should be controlled by the temporary suspension and application of the product only on the affected area, when the treatment is resumed.

Overdosing

No overdose cases have been reported. However in case of application of an excessive dose of product wash immediately and carefully with water and consult your doctor.

The safety of use during pregnancy has not been ascertained, therefore the product must be used only in case of actual need and under the control of the doctor.
