Medical device CE 0120, class IIa. Multi-dose ophthalmic gel for prolonged relief from the sensation of eye dryness.
Xailin Gel is used to lubricate and protect the eye under certain eye conditions and offer prolonged relief from the sensation of eye dryness. Xailin Gel offers refreshing and calming relief from the sensations of eye dryness, such as pain, irritation or a feeling of presence of sand. The symptoms of the dry eye occur as a result of eye disturbances that can be caused by a number of different reasons, where normal tears are of poor quality or produced in too poor quantities to keep the eye sufficiently humid. Xailin Gel can be used by contact lens holders, but it is recommended to remove the lenses before use.

How to use
The usual dosage is of a drop to be applied from 2 to 4 times a day according to need, or as indicated by your doctor, who might recommend using this product differently. Dose adjustment is not required in children.
Before opening a new pack of Xailin Gel, make sure that the safety ring placed on the tube cap is not broken.
1. Rotate the stopper counterclockwise to break the seal
2. Wash and dry your hands well before use
3. Remove external cap
4. If you have contact lenses, remove lenses
5. Tilt your head back and look up
6. Gently lower the lower eyelid and squeeze a drop of Xailin Gel into the crack between the eye and the eyelid
7. Close and reopen the eye a couple of times
8. If the eye has not been centered, insert another drop
9. Carefully eliminate any excess of Xailin Gel around the eyelid with a handkerchief.
10. Repeat the procedure for the other eye, if necessary
11. Put the outer cap on the container, trying not to touch the applicator tip with any foreign body, including the eye or fingers
12. Allow to spend at least 30 minutes between one administration and the other of other ophthalmic drugs.

Precautions and warnings
• Do not use if the safety ring on the pipe cap is broken
• Do not use in case of product allergy
• Do not touch the tip of the tube with the eye or with any other surface
• Do not share Xailin Gel with other people
• Xailin Gel can cause a momentary feeling of light burning and/or clouding vision after application. Wait for the vision to be clear before driving or using machinery
• Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the molded packaging on the edge of the pipe
• Store between 1 and 25°C
• Delete content 28 days after first opening
• Keep out of reach and view of children
• Only for external ophthalmic use, do not ingest
• Consult your physician, pharmacist or optician before using
Xailin Gel in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Dispose of the pipe used according to local waste management regulations.

Components
Xailin Gel contains carbomer 0.2% m/m, sodium perborate and excipients. Xailin Gel contains a concealed preservative that turns into water and oxygen in contact with the eye, thus minimizing the irritation that can be caused by traditional preservatives, guaranteeing however the comfort of a multidose form. All you feel is the feeling of relief and freshness of the gel.
