Xailin
Night

Medical device CE 0120, class IIa.
Gentle ophthalmic sterile lubricant, multidose, without preservatives, white, translucent, free of foreign material, for night relief from the sensation of eye dryness. It offers a strong night calming relief from the sensation of eye dryness, as it acts as a barrier against moisture loss. Ideal before bedtime. Lubricating ophthalmic ointment that offers relief from the symptoms of eye dryness, such as pain, irritation or a feeling of presence of sand. The symptoms of the dry eye occur as a result of eye disturbances that can be caused by a number of different reasons, where normal tears are of poor quality or produced in too poor quantities to keep the eye sufficiently humid. There is no age limit for using Xailin Night lubricant ophthalmic ointment and can be used during pregnancy and nursing.

How to use
Apply a thin strip of ointment of about 1 cm in each eye whenever necessary, as shown below:
before opening a new Xailin Night pomata ophthalmic lubricating package, make sure that the safety ring placed on the tube cap is not broken.
1. Rotate the stopper counterclockwise to break the seal.
2. Wash and dry your hands well before use.
3. Remove the outer cap.
4. If you have contact lenses, remove the lenses.
5. Tilt your head back and look up.
6. Gently lower the lower eyelid so as to form a small pocket between the eyelid and the eye.
7. Keep the tube between the thumb and the middle finger of the other hand, flip the tube closer to the eye and try not to touch the eye with the applicator.
8. Apply enough pressure to the tube to release a thin strip of ointment of about 1 cm, or as indicated by the doctor, pharmacist or optician.
9. Close and reopen the eye a few times.
10. If the eye has not centered, insert another strip of ointment.
11. Carefully remove any excess of Xailin Night around the eyelid with a handkerchief.
12. Repeat the procedure for the other eye if necessary.
13. Put the outer cap on the container, trying not to touch the applicator tip with any foreign body, including the eye or fingers.
14. Allow to spend at least 30 minutes between one administration and the other of other ophthalmic drugs.

Warnings
Do not use if the safety ring on the pipe cap is broken. Do not use in case of allergy to lanolin alcohols or any of the excipients. Do not use contact lenses. Do not share Xailin Night ointment ointment with other people. Xailin Night lubricant ophthalmic ointment may cause a momentary feeling of mild burning and/or clouding of vision after application. Wait for the vision to be clear before driving or using machinery. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Only for external ophthalmic use, do not ingest.

Conservation
Store between 1 and 25°C. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package or die on the edge of the pipe. Delete content 28 days after first opening.

Components
White vaseline 57.3% m/m; white mineral oil 42.5% m/m; lanolin alcohol 0.2% m/m.
