When possible, the treatment should be started before exposure to allergic stimulus and continued regularly throughout the exposure period or in any case until the remission of symptomatology. Mode of administration Each container contains a sufficient amount of eye drops for only one treatment of both eyes. Open the envelope. Carefully lay a monodose container. Carefully close the sachet containing the remaining single-dose containers by folding the open-side flaps. Open the monodose container by turning the flat top. Instill the solution in the eyes and throw the container after use.Conservation
Do not store at a temperature greater than +25° C. Store in external packing. Protect from direct sunlight.Warnings
Avoid touching the eye with the bucket of the container. The colliery is presented in sterile monodose containers and does not contain preservatives; therefore it can also be used by patients carrying contact lenses. Every microflacone must be eliminated after use.Interactions
There are no known interactions with other medicines. In case of concurrent treatment with other collieries, leave 15 minutes between the instillations of the two different drugs.Effects
The instillation of the colliery may sometimes cause locally burning and/or transient itching. Reporting of suspicious adverse reactions The reporting of suspicious adverse reactions that occur after the authorization of the medicinal product is important, as it allows continuous monitoring of the benefit/risk ratio of the medicinal product. Healthcare workers are required to report any suspected adverse reaction via the national reporting system at the address www.agenziafarmaco.gov.it/it/responsabili.Overdosing
No overdose has been reported to date and, given the poor absorption of chromoglycated sodium, it is extremely unlikely to occur. The administration during the first trimester of pregnancy must be limited to cases of actual need. Animal studies have shown that chromoglycated sodium is hardly found in breast milk. Undesirable effects on breast-feededed children are not reported by scientific literature.
