Description
Transparent sterile ophthalmic gel without preservatives containing sodium hyaluronate and xanthan gum.
It relieves the symptoms of dryness of the eye of various nature.
It is indicated to alleviate the symptoms of eye discomfort derived from the use of contact lenses. EYESTIL GEL is also indicated for the treatment of wounds and abrasions of the eye surface caused by traumatic events or subsequent to eye surgery.
EYESTIL GEL contains two natural polymers: hyaluronic acid and xanthan gum. Applied in the EYESTIL GEL joint furnace mixes with tear and forms a lubricant, viscous and transparent bandage, reducing friction caused by eye movements and begging.
EYESTIL GEL gives relief from the symptoms of dryness of the eye caused by environmental and climatic factors such as pollen, dust, glare, pollution, use of videoterminals.
In addition, EYESTIL GEL protects the surface of the eye during repair processes resulting from wounds or abrasions.
The absence of preservatives makes the product well tolerated.
Mode of use
Wash/igien your hands before use.
Make sure the monodose container is intact. Put the monodose off the strip. Grab the monodose container from the base and shake down. Open by turning the top and pull. Instill EYESTIL GEL avoiding the end of the container to contact the eye or any other surface.
Components
Sodium hyaluronate, xanthan gum, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride esaidrate, calcium chloride bihydrate, disodium phosphate dodecaidrate, sodium monobasic phosphate, sodium citrate, glycerol, purified water.
Warnings
For exclusive topical eye use.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the product components.
Do not use Eyestil Gel if the container is open or damaged.
Do not touch the end of the open container and do not put it in direct contact with the eye or other surfaces.
Each single-dose container should be used only immediately after opening. Any residue should not be used, since EYESTIL GEL does not contain preservatives and the remaining product may be contaminated, exposing at the risk of eye infections.
Do not use EYESTIL GEL if it is not transparent.
The administration of EYESTIL GEL to children or persons with limited skill must be carried out by a responsible adult.
Do not use EYESTIL GEL after the expiry date.
Do not disperse the product in the environment after use.
There are no known product interactions with the administration of ophthalmic drugs. However, for the physical properties of the gel, it is recommended not to administer other medicines or medical devices for ophthalmic use in 60 minutes after administration of EYESTIL GEL.
The product has proven to be compatible with the contemporary use of therapeutic contact lenses after refractive surgery (PRK).
We do not recommend the use of other contact lenses if 60 minutes have not passed since the application of EYESTIL GEL.
Occasionally it can manifest mild and transitory burning.
Conservation
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C.
After opening the envelope the remaining monodose containers must be used within 12 weeks.
Validity of whole packaging: 24 months.
