active ingredients
100 g cream contain: Active Ingredient: glicosaminoglycanopolysulphate (P.M. 5700-13700) 0.3 g equal to 25000 U.I. Excipients with known effect: 7.515 g of wool, 0.160 g of parahydroxybenzoate methyl, 0.040 g of parahydroxybenzoate propile and 3,105 g cetostearilic alcohol. 100 g gel contains: Active Ingredient: glicosaminoglycanopolysulphate (PM 5700-13700) 0.3 g, equal to 25000 U.I. Excipients with a known effect: 0.50 g of glycol propylene (E1520). For the full list of excipients, see paragraph 6.1.Excellent
Cream: glycerin, potassium hydroxide, stearic acid, lanolin, cetostearilic alcohol, myristic alcohol, thyme, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propile parahydroxybenzoate, isopropyl alcohol, purified water. Gel: isopropanol, polyacrylic acid, glycol propylene (E1520), hydroxide sodium, purified water.Therapeutic indications
Trombophlebittes and superficial phlebititis, states of inflammation of the varics, hematomas.Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient, an eparinoid or any of the excipients listed in the paragraph 6.1.Population
Cream: in slightly extended phlogistic processes, apply 1-2 times a day a 3-5 cm long cream thread (about 0.5-1 g) or cover with a smeared gauze tablet of Hirudoid 25000 U.I. cream. The cream can be slightly fried near the sick area; never clutches on the inflamed part. In the most extensive processes, greater amounts of medicine are required: about 25 cm (from 4 to 6 g approximately) of cream thread per day. Practice the treatment for 3-4 days, after this period halve the dose until the disappearance of symptomatology; Gel: apply a 5-10 cm long gel thread several times a day. In case of inflamed surfaces it is recommended not to fry on the sick part but in the immediate vicinity. Hirudoid 25000 U.I. gel is particularly suitable for a percutane therapy of extended surfaces. More medicine is needed. Practice the treatment for 3-4 days; after this period halve the dose until the disappearance of symptomatology.Conservation
This medicine does not require any special condition of conservation.Warnings
The use, especially if prolonged, of the products for skin use can give rise to phenomena of sensitization, in this case it is necessary to interrupt the treatment. Hirudoid 25000 U.I. gel and cream contain an alcohol between excipients and therefore should not be applied on open or mucous membrane wounds. Important information about some excipients Hirudoid 25000 U.I. cream cream cream contains para-hydroxybenzoates that can cause allergic reactions (also delayed). contains lanolin and cetilstearilic alcohol that can cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).
