In the absence of available data do not use in children under 2 months of age and/or weighing less than 2 kg. Do not use in sick animals (for example, systemic diseases, fever,...) or convalescents. Do not use in rabbits, as adverse reactions and death can occur. This product is specifically developed for dogs. Do not use in cats, because you may experience overdose. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient, dimethylsolfoxide or any of the excipients.Population
Only for external use. To administer for topical application on the skin according to body weight as follows: 1 pipette of 4,02 ml per dog weighing more than 40 kg and up to 60 kg and 1 pipette of 4,02 ml and 1 appropriate pipette of lower dosage for dog weighing more than 60 kg. Application mode: remove the pipette from the triple layer bag. Keep the pipette in vertical position, rotate and remove the cap. Turn the hood over and place it on the pipette. Press and rotate the cap to break the seal, then remove the cap from the pipette. Separate the hair of the animal in the area between the shelves until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press the monodose pipette several times to empty the contents directly on the skin in one or two points. It is important to ensure that the product is applied to an area that the animal cannot lick and that the animals do not leach each other after treatment. You should separate the hair and the product should be applied on the skin. Transitional changes of the cape can be found on the application site (grouped/unto hair and/or hair deposits). Treatment programme: For optimal control of flea and/or tick infestations, the treatment program can be based on the local epidemiological situation. In the absence of security studies, the minimum interval between treatments is 4 weeks.Conservation
Store in the original packaging to protect it from light and moisture. Do not remove from the bag until use. Before application the product must be kept at room temperature (over 14 degrees C) for about an hour.Warnings
Water baths/immersions within 2 days the application of the product must be avoided. After weekly dive in water for a minute, the period of persistence of insecticide efficacy against fleas is 7 weeks. The product does not prevent the attack of ticks on animals. If the animal was treated before exposure to ticks, they will be killed in the first 24-48 hours after the attack. Generally, this happens before the meal is completed, reducing but not excluding the risk of transmission of diseases. Once death, the ticks often break out of the animal, but the remaining ones can be removed by pulling them slightly. Fleas present on animals often infest the skin, blankets and habitual areas in which the animal rests, such as carpets and fabrics of furniture which, in case of massive infestations and at the beginning of the control measures, must be treated with a special insecticide and regularly cleaned with an aspirator. When used as part of a strategy for treating Pulci Allergic Dermatitis, monthly applications are recommended to allergic patients and other home dogs. For optimal control of flea infestations in a home with more pets, all dogs and cats in the house must be treated with a special insecticide. Animals must be weighed carefully before treatment. Avoid contact with the eyes of the animal. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, wash the eyes immediately and abundantly with water. It is important to ensure that the product is applied on an area that the animal cannot lick and that the animals do not leach each other after treatment. Do not apply the product on injured or skin. Special precautions for those who administer the veterinary medicinal product to animals: this product can cause irritation to mucous membranes and eyes. Therefore contact between the product and the mouth or eyes should be avoided. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, wash the eyes immediately and abundantly with water. If the eye irritation persists contact a doctor by showing him the leaflet or label. Do not smoke, drink or eat during the application. Avoid contacting your fingers. In case it happens, wash your hands immediately with soap and water. Wash your hands after use. People with known hypersensitivity to fipronil or dimethylsolfoxide or any of the excipients must avoid contact with the veterinary medicinal product. The treated animals must not be touched until the application site has dried up and children must not be allowed to play with animals treated until the application site has dried up. It is therefore recommended not to treat animals during the day, but in the evening early, and not to allow animals treated recently to sleep with the owners, especially with children. Keep pipettes in the original container and immediately dispose of the pipettes used. iii) Other precautions Fipronil could be dangerous to aquatic organisms. Dogs should not be allowed to immerse themselves in water courses for two days after application. Overdosage: in safety studies in the target species, no adverse reactions were observed in puppies of 8 weeks of age, in growing dogs and dogs with a weight of about 2 kg, treated once with five doses higher than the recommended one. The risk of adverse reactions can however increase in the case of overdose, therefore animals must always be treated with the pipette from the correct dosage according to body weight.Interactions
