Description
Cicatrizing indicated in the treatment of infected wounds and burns, dermatological affections of bacterial origin or predisposed to the development of secondary infections.
Hyaluronic acid is the main component of the fundamental substance of dermis. It acts on all stages of the healing process. It accelerates scarring and epitelization of skin lesions. Its hygroscopic power maintains a humid environment favourable to the process of tissue regeneration.
Argentine sulfadiazine is a component with high antibacterial activity, mainly on Gram bacteria (-).
Components
Hyaluronic acid (sodium salt) 0.2%, silver sulfadiazine 1%, decilic ester of oleic acid, cetilstearilic alcohol and lauril sulphate of sodium and cetearilophagate sodium, macrogol, liquid sorbitol, glycerol, water.
Mode of use
After doing normal cleaning procedures, apply the cream directly on the clean and disinfected wound, forming a layer of about 2-3 mm or smear the cream on a sterile gauze to be applied then on the wound. Since the cream is protected by a sterile gauze it is possible to maintain the on-site dressing by appropriate bandage.
Before each new application, it is recommended to clean the wound with physiological solution.
The application must be renewed every 24 hours from granulation to complete scarring.
The cream can be removed by simply washing with water.
The evolution of the wound healing process or burn must be evaluated by the doctor. The total duration of the treatment shall not exceed 1 month.
Warnings
In very rare cases, local hypersensitivity reactions such as eczema were observed.
Contraindicated in case of sensitization known to the general, or local sulphamide (contact eczema) and in case of allergy to one of the components.
Due to inadequate data, the use of ialuset PLUS is not recommended in children under two years of age.
To adhere to the methods of cleaning and disinfection of burns and wounds, as well as the surrounding tissue. The use of PLUS hyaluset in association with an enzyme cleaner has not been evaluated.
Avoid exposing the body parts treated with ialuset PLUS in bright sunlight (photosensitivity risk). A transient coloring of the wound bed may appear. This can be removed with a simple washing.
In patients with kidney or liver failure, avoid the application of cream on open wounds.
Children: ialuset Plus must be used with caution in children older than two years, the duration of treatment should not exceed 15 days without medical advice.
Do not apply the end of the tube directly to the wound.
Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
Keep out of reach of children.
Don't swallow.
External use.
Bring expired or unused products to your pharmacist for their elimination.
Pregnancy and nursing: ialuset Plus must be used only in pregnant and nursing women when strictly necessary.
Conservation
Carefully close the pipe after each use.
Store at temperature below 30°C, sheltered from light.
Third last of preservation from the date of production, in package integrated: 36 months.
Use within 6 months after opening.
