Description
SenSura My adhesive discharge bag is a single-piece bag used together with the other components of the Irrigation Set to carry out irrigation, a practice that regulates the emptying of the intestine in colostomized patients. Medical device treatment.
The bag is transparent, tapered and open at the lower and upper end. At the top is equipped with clippers to allow closure.
It consists of SenSura Mio elastic adhesive which, thanks to BodyFit Technology, adapts to the irregularities of the skin offering instant adhesive high, safety during use and skin intact to removal.
The adhesive consists of two layers:
- the most internal layer has a special lattice structure, which incorporates small hydrocolloids: in contact with the deiations is transformed into a thick and compact gel, with high resistance to erosion. This creates a protective seal that reduces the infiltration of infiltrations together with the maintenance of the correct gradient of skin moisture, favoring tissue repair;
- in the outermost layer and thinner the elastic adhesive capacity allows this layer to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin offering a high instant adhesiveness and consequent safety in use.
Conservation
Store in the original package protected from light and moisture, at a constant temperature between 15 °C and 30 °C.
