Description
Sterile lubricant solution in multidose bottles, intended to lubricate and hydrate the surface of the eye(s) and is indicated to help provide temporary relief from dryness, irritation, burning, discomfort and/or any other symptoms caused by dry eye disease (DED) or environmental factors.
OPTIVE Fusion provides an instant calming relief from the sensation of dryness, irritation, burning, discomfort and/or any other symptoms caused by dry eye disease (DED) or environmental factors.
OPTIVE Fusion is safe for use on the eye surface in general and can be used repeatedly as needed without any minimum time interval between the two instillations.
OPTIVE Fusion is compatible with all types of lens materials (contact lenses, soft and rigid, permeable to gas).
Mode of use
Do not use if the package shows tamper marks.
Put 1 or 2 drops in each affected eye as needed.
Close after use.
The bottle must be kept well closed when not in use.
Any unused product or waste material must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. No special disposal requirement.
Components
Carbossimetilcellulose sodium 0.5%, glycerin 0.9%, sodium hyaluronate 0.1%, boric acid 0.7%, sodium borate decahydrate 0.2%, erythritol, sodium citrate dihydrate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride esahydrate, purified water, hydroteric acid.
Warnings
- Don't ingest the solution.
- To avoid any contamination or possible injury to the eye, comma do not touch the dropper with any surface, and avoid direct contact with the eye.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy.
- Do not use after the expiry date on the product.
- Do not use if the package shows tamper marks.
- Do not use the bottle, if the seal placed on a bottle neck should be broken before first use.
- Close the bottle right after use.
- Allow 5 minutes between the administration of ophthalmic products.
- Stop the use of the product and consult a doctor if you experience eye pain, vision changes, continuous redness or irritation of the eyes or if the condition worsens.
- It can cause a transient blur of sight that can compromise the ability to drive or use machinery. The patient must wait until the view has cleared before driving or using machinery.
- The boron has been associated with negative effects on reproduction in animals at high doses. The product contains 0.7% p/p of boric acid and 0.2% p/p sodium Borato Decay idrate with total exposure to boric acid boron and sodium borate less than 1 mg of boron/day, which is lower than the permissible daily exposure for adults and children and significantly lower than the levels that cause adverse effects in animals. Consult your physician or health care professional for a medical advice regarding the use of the product during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Clinical studies have identified the following side effects:
- eye pain, eye secretion, eye irritation, eyelid edema, sensation of foreign body in the eye, increased tearing, swelling of the eyes;
- hypersensitivity.
