Description
Multilayered Medication formed by an absorbent polyurethane foam, an external polyurethane film, a contact layer not adhering to the lesion bed and a hydrocolloidal adhesive edge.
It is an extremely flexible dressing: it can extend up to 22% of its size. For this feature it can also be used to prevent post-operative phlythintheses, in order to reduce any complications and improve the outcome of treatment.
It does not adhere to the stitches and is able to absorb serum and blood.
It can be used both as primary medicine, and as secondary medicine.
The dressing can be cut out before use, without compromising the structural and functional characteristics of the dressing.
It does not contain phthalates.
Manufactured without natural rubber latex.
Sterilized with beta rays.
Components
Multi-layered hydrophilic medicine composed of:
- central swab in polyurethane foam with high absorption microcapillars, with vertical alveolar structure, with the exclusive 3DFit Technology;
- transparent contact layer, not adhering to the lesion bed: allows atraumatic removal;
- external layer consisting of breathable polyurethane film, semi-permeable (water resistant to liquids and bacteria, but permeable to gases);
- hypoallergenic hydrocolloidal adhesive board, makes the entire surface hydroactive.
The 3DFit Technology gives the foam the characteristic of trapped and retaining inside the exudate; the soft and thermowelded edges of the foam limit the mold on the perilesional skin: this helps to reduce the risk of loss, maceration of edges and perilesional skin, even under compression. Conforming to the bed of injury, the foam fills the dead spaces and promotes the creation of the humid environment ideal for the healing process of injury. Foam can conform to deep lesions up to 2 cm.
Warnings
Disposable product.
Remove the dressing before radioactive treatment (X-rays, ultrasound treatment, diathermia and microwave).

Valid sterilization: 36 months.
